Top WR target Williams commits to UGA

ATHENS, Ga. -- For weeks Georgia has made it clear that Shakenneth Williams was one of its top targets at wide receiver for 2014. At Friday night's Dawg Night camp, Williams officially joined the Bulldogs' commitment list.

Williams (Macon, Ga./Rutland), a four-star prospect, confirmed Friday night that he joined Krenwick Sanders and Gilbert Johnson among committed wide receivers in Georgia's 2014 class.

"Yes sir, I committed," Williams told DawgNation's Radi Nabulsi on Friday.

"Me and my mom talked it over, and she liked everything, and I felt it was time, plus I liked everything about it."

Williams is officially the 13th commitment in Georgia's 2014 class, although more could come by the end of the night as Georgia's Dawg Night camp continues.
