A Georgia spokesman confirmed Saturday night that Love had been granted a transfer after the redshirt sophomore tweeted that he planned to leave the team.
Love appeared in eight games as a reserve and made 12 tackles this season. He was named the team’s most improved defensive player at the conclusion of spring drills.
