The final ESPN 150 and ESPN 300 rankings were released on Thursday and the Georgia Bulldogs are well represented on both lists. Georgia has 12 verbal commits on in the ESPN 300, five of whom are ranked in the ESPN 150.
The biggest jump up belonged to Brandon Kublanow (Marietta, Ga./Walton) who moved up 49 spots to finish at No. 145 in the ESPN 150. Rated the No. 2 center in the nation, Kublanow recently told DawgNation that he will play guard at Georgia.
“Yeah I will be at guard and swing center,” Kublanow said.
He indicate that fellow Georgia lineman commit and early enrollee Josh Cardiello (Buford. Ga./Buford) will play at center instead of guard.
Cornerback Shaq Wiggins (Tyrone, Ga./Sandy Creek) remains the Bulldogs top rated commit, coming in at No. 39 in the ESPN 150. He was joined on that exclusive list by athlete Tramel Terry (Goose Creek, S.C./Goose Creek) at No. 89, quarterback Brice Ramsey (Kingsland, Ga./Camden County) at No. 115 and safety Tray Matthews (Newnan, Ga./Newnan) at No. 129.
Ramsey, Terry and Matthews are enrolled in classes at Georgia and will get a leg up on the rest of the signing class as they go through offseason conditioning and spring camp with the rest of the team. Ramsey also moved up to the No. 7-ranked quarterback in the nation.
Linebacker Johnny O’Neal (Dublin, Ga./West Laurens) just missed being included in the ESPN 150, coming in at No. 153. He was joined in the ESPN 300 by athlete Reggie Wilkerson (Citra, Fla./North Marion) at No. 163, athlete Brendan Langley (Marietta, Ga./Kell) at No. 226, running back A.J. Turman (Orlando, Fla./Boone) at No. 259, linebacker Tim Kimbrough (Indianapolis, Ind./ Warren Central) at No. 288, wide receiver Reggie Davis (Tallahassee, Fla./Lincoln) at No. 294 and linebacker Ryne Rankin (Orlando, Fla./East River) at No. 296.
