Class of 2014 defensive end Dante Sawyer (Suwanee,Ga./North Gwinnett) went head-to-head with 2013 Florida commit Octavius Jackson (Moultrie, Ga./Colquitt County) to start the season. By all accounts it was quite the battle in the trenches. Before that game Sawyer was a bit of a unknown commodity, but the calls began soon after. On Wednesday he received his first offer, from North Carolina. Sawyer spoke to DawgNation after his game about his performance and where his recruitment stands.
