FSU Seminoles: Under Armour Game 2013
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- For the second year in a row, Florida State had a commitment in the Under Armour All-America Game who returned to the field after a lengthy time away for one reason or another.
Last year it was defensive end Chris Casher. Because of rules in the state of Alabama, and the fact that he transferred, he was ineligible to play his senior season.
Fast forward to this year, and it was running back Ryan Green (St. Petersburg, Fla./St. Petersburg Catholic) who was finally able to get back at it.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- There might have been more explosive plays that resulted in points during the Under Armour All-America Game, but Matthew Thomas' (Miami/Booker T. Washington) hit on Michigan commitment Shane Morris (Warren, Mich./De La Salle Collegiate) made the biggest impact.
Morris took off with the ball under his arm looking for space.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- When the scoreboard finally showed triple zeros inside Tropicana Field at the Under Armour All-America Game on Friday, Stacy Coley's (Oakland Park, Fla./Northeast) high school career had drawn to a close.
Even though Coley's team ended up on the losing end, it wasn't about points. Coley had made it. He was an all-star, a truly elite player.
And now with just a few weeks standing between him and national signing day, it's time to say goodbye to prep football and hello to the next level.

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- As Tony Stevens (Orlando, Fla./Evans) looks decreasingly likely to sign with Florida State, the Seminoles have begun to make appropriate changes to their plans at wide receiver.
ESPN 150 wide receiver Jordan Cunningham (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla./University School of Nova Southeast) is hardly a backup plan, though. Being the No. 59 prospect in the country, he's proved himself to be a quality prospect.
And it seems he's warm to Florida State despite running backs coach Eddie Gran's departure to Cincinnati, as well as Vanderbilt.

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- ESPN 150 athlete Tarean Folston (Cocoa, Fla./Cocoa) has committed to Notre Dame. The 5-foot-9, 192-pound chose Notre Dame over Florida State and Oregon.
Folston, the nation’s No. 9 athlete, announced his decision today after Under Armour All-America Game practice at Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports. The four-star prospect said the Fighting Irish fan base was a big reason he chose Notre Dame.
“I went on a visit there and when I went there I just felt like I could do this for four years,” Folston said. “The coaches were great, the players were great. There was a lot of energy around there, and there is a lot of people wanting to get the same goal to get to the BCS championship. They are on their way now. We are going to pull this thing out.”

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla – ESPN 150 wide receiver Stacy Coley (Oakland Park, Fla./Northeast) isn’t big on social media. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound senior doesn’t even have a Twitter account or a Facebook page.
But someone posing as Coley has occasionally been known to pop up on both sites with some big news on the uncommitted wide receiver. In the past “Stacy Coley” has listed his favorites and even made a “commitment” to Florida State a few weeks ago.
The real Coley is aware of the accounts and thinks it’s one of his classmates.

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- For Yannick Ngakoue, (Washington, D.C./Friendship Academy) recruiting is truly hitting the homestretch.
Having only taken one official visit to Maryland so far, the 6-foot-2, 230-pound inside linebacker has plans for three more starting in less than two weeks.
"Florida State on the 11th, and after that I am going to Miami. After that I am going to South Carolina," Ngakoue said of his official visit plans.

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- As ESPN 150 defensive end Tim Williams (Baton Rouge, La./ University Lab) nears national signing day, all that remains between him and choosing a school is a few official visits.
Up first is a trip to Alabama on January 11, Miami on the 18th and Florida State on the 25th. Williams will decide whether or not to take an official to LSU or Texas A&M at some point, too.
Among his finalists, it seems all have a common thread.

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- Ryan Green's (St. Petersburg, Fla./St. Petersburg Catholic) season came to an end prematurely due to an AC joint injury in his shoulder in early September.
Since then, he's rehabbed and played some basketball for his high school. Football hasn't even been too much of a thought.
But this week at the Under Armour All-America Game, the Florida State running back commitment will refocus on the sport he'll be playing in college.
