TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Florida State added to its 2015 class on Friday afternoon with the addition of Marlon Gonzalez (Cape Coral, Fla./Island Coast).

The 6-foot-3, 245-pound defensive end, who worked out and earned an offer the same day at the Jimbo Fisher Camp, decided to go ahead and make Florida State his future home, his coach Joe Bowen confirmed.

Gonzalez joins Derwin James (Auburndale, Fla./Auburndale) and De'Andre Johnson (Jacksonville, Fla./First Coast) as the third commitment in the Class of 2015 for the Seminoles.

Mario Pender, a redshirt freshman running back at Florida State, also played at Island Coast High School.
