Target profile: Roderick Johnson

By Corey Dowlar

Target: OT Roderick Johnson (Florissant, Mo./Hazelwood Central), 6-foot-6, 320 pounds

Status: Undeclared

Offers: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Florida State, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas State, Michigan, Michigan State, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Wisconsin

Interesting note: Johnson, the 13th-ranked offensive tackle in the ESPN 300, recently completed a tour of the South visiting schools, including Florida State and Alabama. Those two, in particular, could be his favorites.

Major players: Alabama, Florida State, Oklahoma and Missouri.

The skinny: Offensive tackles are arguably the Seminoles' top need for the Class of 2014. A commitment from Johnson would go a long way toward filling it.

At 6-foot-6, 320 pounds, he's got the requisite size needed for the position, and he's a good athlete.

Rick Trickett, often criticized for not being able to land a big fish by the fan base, would receive a massive boost if able to pull it off. Damian Prince is still on the board, but Johnson and Ethan Frith would be a great start for Florida State at offensive tackle if they were to get Johnson to commit.
