Key visitor won't make it to Tennessee
By Dave Hooker
Harsh winter weather on the eastern seaboard has changed Tennessee's official visit list.
E.J. Levenberry will not be making the trip to Knoxville for his official visit as previously planned, according to his father, Eric Levenberry Sr. The family will try to take the official visit to Tennessee on Feb. 1.
That could actually work in Tennessee's favor as it tries to steal away the Florida State commitment. The Volunteers would have the last official visit for the four-star linebacker prospect from Woodbridge (Va.) Hylton.
That, however, might not be enough. The elder Levenberry has repeatedly said his son is firmly committed to the Seminoles and the trip to Tennessee was to be certain about his decision.
Levenberry was enamored with the Vols early in his recruitment. His attraction to the school slipped significantly when defensive coordinator Sal Sunseri joined Tennessee's staff and didn't actively recruit the ESPN 300 prospect.
