2014 DT Baker talks FSU, Vandy
By Radi Nabulsi
Kendall Baker (Atlanta/Marist) is a 6-foot-5, 275-pound lineman. It doesn't matter which side of the line he plays. While he prefers to play defensive tackle and did so in the Georgia Junior Bowl in December, Baker said he will play whichever position will get him on the field sooner.
Such versatility and a complementary skill set have netted Baker offers from Florida State, Washington, Tennessee, Georgia Tech and Vanderbilt. While he does not have a leader yet, the junior plans to take a number of visits starting with the Seminoles.
“I am really liking them,” Baker said. “I want to go take a visit down there before I make any big-time decision on anything.”
Baker is also looking to get back and revisit the Commodores as well.
“I have probably been talking to them since last summer,” Baker said. “They offered me during hat summer too ... I like what I saw when I went on the visit down there. It was pretty fun.”
