Wilson enjoys FSU official
By Corey Dowlar
Florida State used two of their most explosive receivers to host Jesus Wilson (Miami/Columbus) over the weekend during the four-star commitment's official visit.
And for Wilson, if he can be anything like them, both he and the Seminoles will be very happy.
"It was really fun," Wilson said. "I had two good hosts, Rashad Greene and Kenny Shaw. They were great guys. Also, me and Jimbo Fisher have a great relationship."
While his future position was up in the air at the time of his commitment, Wilson now has a clear preference towards offense. New defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt tried his best sales pitch over the weekend, but it looks like wide receivers coach Lawrence Dawsey might win out.
"I met the new defensive coach from Alabama [Jeremy Pruitt] and he wants me to play corner, but I'm sticking with offense and special teams," Wilson said.
While on campus at Florida State, Wilson was brought around to the various facilities and shown what to expect as a future player. Two places in particular piqued his interest above the rest.
And one isn't complete yet.
"I was most impressed by the apartments we are staying in for freshman year," Wilson said. "They are really nice and another thing I was impressed by was the indoor practice facility they are building."
Wilson committed to Florida State in June and was recruited by offensive coordinator James Coley.
