It has been a crazy 24 hours for Jeremy Kerr (St. Petersburg, Fla./St. Petersburg).
On Wednesday morning, he flipped his commitment from Miami to Florida State. And on Thursday afternoon, his potential position coach, James Coley, chose to take the offensive coordinator job at Miami and leave Florida State.
Although a bit shocking, Kerr wished Coley the best, understanding the bigger picture.
"I mean, obviously I would rather him stay, but I completely understand he has to do what is best for him and his family and I respect that," Kerr said. "I wish the best of luck to him and his family and I know he will do great there."
As for whether he will remain with Florida State, Kerr responded with a simple "Go Noles!"
Kerr is a three-star tight end but could blossom into an offensive lineman at Florida State.
