Defensive back Artie Burns (Miami/Northwestern) was part of a large contingent of Northwestern players at the June session of Jimbo Fisher’s Football Camp. The ESPN 150 prospect worked exclusively with Florida State defensive coordinator Mark Stoops.
Burns committed to Alabama in January, but backed out of his commitment during the spring to check out other programs including Florida State.
“I have always liked FSU and I like the coaches here,” Burns said. “It’s a nice place, nice campus and a college town. It’s a good place to spend four years.”
