TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Just about an hour to the south of Florida State's campus hails one of the big-time receivers in the state of Florida for 2014.
Moral Stephens (Perry, Fla./Taylor County), a 6-foot-3, 205-pound target, already holds offers from the likes of Florida State, Arkansas, Clemson, Georgia, Miami, Ohio State and Vanderbilt. And in mid-July, he traveled to see the Seminoles' campus while Jimbo Fisher Camp was going on.
"They have a great school," he said. "I am just still trying to get to know the coaches, trying to get a better feel for it. I am trying to feel more at home here."
Stephens is just about recovered from a foot injury sustained in the spring. Sure, he's not 100 percent just yet, admittedly, but he's close.
When his Taylor County team takes to the field for the opening of his junior season, Stephens expects to pick up right where he left off prior to his setback.
"I am doing good. I haven't been able to do full sprints yet, but I am doing pretty good."
"First game, I will be hitting the ground running. I will be fine by August."
Expectedly, Stephens is done with summer visits, but did indicate he wants to see Georgia and Ohio State at some point during the near future.
