There has been a flurry of activity on the recruiting trail over the past few months, so this is a good time to compile our first ACC recruiting scorecard.

Below you will find each team in the ACC, including Pitt and Syracuse, along with their number of commitments and most recent news. There are still over seven months to go before signing day in February, but this is a good first look at where everybody stands.

Boston College

Current commitments: 20
Spotlight: Coach Steve Addazio has held true to his promise to focus on recruiting, putting together a Top 25 class to this point. He has gotten eight commitments alone in the month of June. But the big one so far has been from four-star linebacker Connor Strachan, who fills a major need.
ESPN150 commitments: 0
ESPN300 commitments: 0

Clemson

Current commitments: 12
Spotlight: Out of the Tigers' 12 commitments, 10 have four-star ratings from ESPN.com. The standout, of course, is Deshaun Watson, who has been in the spotlight the past month because of his decision to visit Auburn. Still, Watson maintains his commitment to Clemson.
ESPN150 commitments: 2
ESPN300 commitments: 7

Duke

Current commitments: 11
Spotlight: The Blue Devils' top commitment remains four-star linebacker Zavier Carmichael, out of Mobile, Ala. Carmichael committed one year ago. But they did pick up a recent commitment from three-star athlete Johnathan Lloyd, one of the highest-rated players on their current commitment board.
ESPN150 commitments: 0
ESPN300 commitments: 0

Florida State

Current commitments: 15

Spotlight: The Noles have gone after linebackers big time, and have secured commitments from three of the best in the nation -- No. 2 rated inside linebacker Kain Daub, No. 5 outside linebacker Jacob Pugh and No. 6 outside linebacker Delvin Purifoy.
ESPN150 commitments: 5
ESPN300 commitments: 7

Georgia Tech

Current commitments: 10
Spotlight: The highest-rated player on the board committed earlier this month in four-star cornerback Stepheny Durham IV out of Jacksonville, Fla. In fact, the four-highest rated players all made commitments in the past three weeks.
ESPN150 commitments: 0
ESPN300 commitments: 0

Maryland

Current commitments: 8
Spotlight: The Terps have gotten three commitments in the span of two days, so things are starting to pick up. They are recruiting for their future in the Big Ten, and do have one commmitment from four-star tight end Andrew Gray out of Ohio. The highest-rated player remains athlete William Ulmer out of Washington D.C., still in the biggest footprint the Terps will recruit.
ESPN150 commitments: 0
ESPN300 commitments: 0

Miami

Current commitments: 18
Spotlight: As was the case last year, looming NCAA sanctions are not taking a toll on the class coach Al Golden is putting together. Miami just got five commitments over the weekend for the class of 2014, and already have seven four-stars in the fold.
ESPN150 commitments: 3
ESPN300 commitments: 6

North Carolina

Current commitments: 16
Spotlight: The Tar Heels have had a huge month as well, picking up eight commitments. The biggest comes from four-star offensive guard Josh Allen out of Jacksonville, Fla. He is the second four-star to give a commitment to the Tar Heels, joining quarterback Caleb Henderson.
ESPN150 commitments: 0
ESPN300 commitments: 1

NC State

Current commitments: 22
Spotlight: New coach Dave Doeren promised to hit the recruiting trail hard and he has, leading the ACC with 21 commitments to this point. All but two of those pledges have come since the start of May, and 14 have come in June. The most recent comes from four-star defensive tackle Justin Jones, who committed Monday.
ESPN150 commitments: 0
ESPN300 commitments: 0

Pitt

Current commitments: 12
Spotlight: The Panthers have gained so much needed momentum of late, with 11 commitments since June 14. The big one so far is from quarterback Adam Bertke, rated the No. 24 pocket passer in the nation. The Panthers also got a commitment from offensive tackle Mike Grimm to help bolster a position that has been a weak spot.
ESPN150 commitments: 0
ESPN300 commitments: 0

Syracuse

Current commitments: 6
Spotlight: Orange fans probably would like to see a few more commitments at this point, but it's hard to complain with one four-star in the mix so far -- quarterback A.J. Long out of Lebanon, Tenn. The most recent commitment comes from linebacker Parris Bennett out of Detroit.
ESPN150 commitments: 0
ESPN300 commitments: 0

Virginia

Current commitments: 8
Spotlight: The Hoos got a major commitment back in February from Quin Blanding, the No. 1-rated safety in the nation. But there has not been much news of late. The highest-rated commit in the last month comes from offensive guard William Richardson, an ESPN150 prospect.
ESPN150 commitments: 2
ESPN300 commitments: 2

Virginia Tech

Current commitments: 12
Spotlight: The Hokies took a big blow when Da'Shawn Hand eliminated Virginia Tech from consideration earlier this month. Hand, out of Woodbridge, Va., is ranked the No. 4 prospect in the entire country. Still, they do have four four-stars committed and most recently got a pledge from three-star quarterback Andrew Ford.
ESPN150 commitments: 1
ESPN300 commitments: 1

Wake Forest

Current commitments: 4
Spotlight: Two of the four commitments have come this month, though neither are rated by ESPN.com. The other two commitments are -- three-star linebacker Jaboree' Williams and three-star safety Cameron Glenn.
ESPN150 commitments: 0
ESPN300 commitments: 0
