The Seminoles will host several visitors for this weekend's spring game. Here's a quick rundown of who they are and why they mean something.
Why he's important: Dixon, a prospect who has long been considered a Florida lean, is at least taking the time to visit Florida State. He does have a Seminoles offer, but there is a long way to go for him.
Favorite(s): Florida State, Louisville
Why he's important: Florida State was the first big, in-state school to offer Johnson. He hasn't yet seen the campus.
Favorite(s): North Carolina, Florida State
Why he's important: Florida State quite simply needs offensive linemen in this class. The Seminoles would like to get Allen to focus on them rather than the Tar Heels.
Favorite(s): Committed to USF
Why he's important: Bayes is at least showing interest enough to come up to Tallahassee after taking his ACT, while being committed to USF. He's an intriguing athlete who could get a few extra looks.
Why he's important: After suffering a major leg injury last season, he will be a guy schools monitor to see whether he's fully recovered.
Favorite(s): Florida State, USF
Why he's important: Davis claimed an offer from the Seminoles early this fall. He has ties to Lawrence Dawsey and likes the Florida State program.
Favorite(s): Alabama, LSU, Ohio State, Miami
Why he's important: Scarlett will be one of the top running backs in the state of Florida in 2015. Getting him on campus as much as possible will be beneficial.
Favorite(s): Florida State
Why he's important: The Seminoles took the plunge and offered Bailey recently. He's at a position that FSU has traditionally struggled recruiting, but they are on him early.
Favorite(s): Alabama, Florida State
Why he's important: Jeremy Pruitt identified Johnson early and was the first to offer him. Johnson likes the Seminoles a lot, but getting him away from the state of Alabama will require visits like these.
