Top Florida State recruit misses

NoleNation takes a look back at a few recruits who never quite worked out for the Seminoles from recent history:

Tom Hauck for ESPN.comJeff Luc was a big-time prospect in 2010, but he never panned out in Tallahassee and transferred.
Jeff Luc: Arriving as the top inside linebacker prospect in the 2010 class, FSU fans had high hopes for Luc's future, but he was just never able to get on the field as much as he should have. Playing time became an issue and rumors of him being unsettled percolated. Eventually they came true, and Luc transferred to Cincinnati and sat out this season. He'll be eligible for 2013 for the Bearcats.

Fred Rouse: As one of the top players in the country from Florida State's backyard at Lincoln High School in 2005, Rouse never really met expectations. He showed flashes early and the talent was never a question. But he was unable to get his off-the-field issues straightened out and transferred to UTEP.
