Nick Glass (Atlanta/St. Pius X), a Georgia commitment, made his way down to Tallahassee this past weekend to take in Florida State's showdown with Clemson.
The 6-foot-1, 195-pound safety picked a good one to go to as the Seminoles came out on top of a 47-39 thriller.
"I loved it," Glass said. "Everything about it."
While on campus, Glass met with the coaches to talk about a possible offer. A definitive word could come very soon.
"They loved my film," he said. "They said that they were going to let me know something this week."
Quarterbacks coach and recruiting coordinator Dameyune Craig is heading up Florida State's recruitment of the Bulldogs pledge and the two have apparently struck up a decent relationship.
"He's pretty funny and a straightforward kind of guy," Glass said.
The tour, game and atmosphere made an impression on Glass. According to him, it definitely helped Florida State's chances.
But he was also very clear to say he's still committed to Georgia.
"It just told me some things I wanted to know," he said of the visit. "And it showed me what I need to think about the most."
Glass will be back to FSU at some point, but it is unlikely it will be before the new year.
"I will probably visit during spring," he said.
The junior defensive back committed to Georgia on April 4.
