Derrell Scott (Havelock, N.C./Havelock) wasn't expecting to get a major offer when he took a moment to get some rest on Friday afternoon.

Groggily, he woke up to a third-party notification that Florida State wanted him to be a part of the 2014 recruiting class.

"I didn't even know about it," he said. "I just woke up from my nap and one of my friends that plays football, he said congrats on the Florida State offer. I didn't really know what he was talking about. He said that he had seen it on Facebook and Twitter. So I texted my coach and asked him if they had and he said they did."
