GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- As we get closer to spotlighting the class of 2014, GatorNation gives you a position-by-position look at a few 2014 prospects to keep an eye on.
Some prospects have already been offered, but there are plenty of names that will start to pop up along the way. Here is a look at a few of the offensive linemen in the class.
Garrett Brumfield (Baton Rouge, La./University Labaratory School) -- Brumfield, a Watch List offensive guard, camped at Florida during the summer and earned a Florida offer. The Gators like Brumfield at center. Though he lives close to LSU and goes to high school on LSU's campus, Brumfield says distance will not play a factor and the Gators continue to lead for his services. Brumfield will visit Florida this weekend for the LSU game.
K.C. McDermott (Wellington, Fla./Palm Beach Central) -- The 6-foot-6, 275-pound tackle prospect certainly looks the part of a college offensive lineman and has the skill to match. McDermott camped at Florida in June and the Gators quickly offered. The Watch List player will be one of the top offensive linemen in the state next season.
Orlando Brown (Duluth, Ga./Peachtree Ridge) -- The massive Watch List tackle has offers from several top schools including Alabama, Clemson, Florida State, Georgia, Auburn, Florida and Michigan. He is the son of former NFL lineman Orlando Brown.
Jamarco Jones (Chicago/De La Salle Institute) -- Jones, yet another Watch List tackle whom Florida has offered, also holds offers from Ohio State, Michigan, Iowa, Nebraska and Wisconsin.
Names to watch
Reilly Gibbons (St. Petersburg, Fla./St. Petersburg Catholic) -- Gibbons was impressive at Florida's camp this summer and is close to earning a Florida offer.
Corey Martinez (Tampa, Fla./Tampa Catholic) -- Like Gibbons, Martinez performed well at Florida's summer camp and is close to earning a Florida offer. Martinez already holds offers from Miami and Florida State.
Mason Cole (Tarpon Springs, Fla./East Lake) -- Cole has garnered offers from Ohio State, Michigan, FSU, South Carolina, Stanford, USC and West Virginia and will likely receive a Florida offer soon.
Travaris Dorsey (Jacksonville, Fla./Raines) -- Dorsey is a very athletic offensive linemen. The Gators like the Watch List prospect as a guard on the next level. With a strong junior season, Dorsey could earn a Florida offer.
