GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- With 18 verbal commitments and just over seven months until signing day, the Gators have filled about 75 percent of their recruiting class. Over the next two weeks, GatorNation will take a look at some uncommitted prospects who could end up in the Florida Gators' recruiting class. Some of them are highly rated and some might surprise you. Next up is wide receiver Demarcus Robinson (Fort Valley, Ga./Peach County).

Why he could end up in Florida's class

The 6-foot-2, 200-pound receiver visited Florida at the beginning of June and was impressed enough with what the Gators had to offer that he almost committed. Though the Gators are recruiting receivers like Stacy Coley (Oakland Park, Fla./Northeast) and Alvin Bailey (Seffner, Fla./Armwood), Florida coaches have told Robinson he is their top remaining pass-catching target. The Gators don't have much depth at receiver, and Robinson could earn playing time early on if he chose to attend Florida.
