Will Grier receives two more offers

December, 13, 2012
Two more schools have officially entered the race to try to land Will Grier.

The 2014 quarterback from Davidson (N.C.) Day picked up recent scholarship offers from NC State and Charlotte, the ESPN Watch List prospect said on Thursday. The Wolfpack and 49ers appear to have a major challenge on their hands to draw even with the competition already courting the pocket-passing quarterback.

Grier has long held scholarship offers from a handful of other schools, namely nearby North Carolina, Wake Forest, Florida and Tennessee. The Gators appear to have the upper hand at this point.

Grier has visited Gainesville several times and spoke glowingly about the trips. He was most recently there last weekend. The 6-foot-3, 195-pound junior has yet to name a leader or any finalists among his list of prospective schools.
