Ole Miss is the leader for Laquon Treadwell (Crete, Ill./Crete-Monee), but the remaining teams in contention are starting to take shape.
Treadwell told WolverineNation writer Tom VanHaaren on Wednesday he will take his last four remaining official visits to Florida, Michigan, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. He also confirmed a tweet Treadwell posted Tuesday that Ole Miss is his No. 1 program.
Oklahoma will host Treadwell the weekend of Dec. 14. It will be the first time the No. 1 receiver nationally visits Norman. He planned an unofficial visit to Oklahoma in the spring, but poor weather forced him back. He also canceled an official visit set earlier this fall when it conflicted with his playoff schedule.
Florida has hung around for Treadwell since the late summer, and the Gators are making a late charge. Treadwell, No. 20 in the ESPN 150, will be in Florida later this month to begin preparations for the Jan. 5 Under Armour All-America Game. The official visit could come during that time.
Michigan was Treadwell's leader for several months, but has since fallen.
Oklahoma State remained in the race for Treadwell after Cowboys coach Mike Gundy turned down the Tennessee job.
Treadwell told VanHaaren he does not have any other visit dates set aside from the trip to Oklahoma.
