Marquez North is scheduled to be in Tennessee for his official visit this weekend, as the Vols host No. 1 Alabama.
As of now, the receiver from Charlotte (N.C.) Mallard Creek is expected to be the only official visitor in Knoxville. However, several other prospects are expected to visit unofficially.
North took an official visit to Florida earlier this month, and the ESPN 150 receiver spoke glowingly about the trip.
North is one of many top prospects in North Carolina that Tennessee is targeting. Head coach Derek Dooley said this offseason that more emphasis should be placed on the state than earlier in his tenure.
The Vols could face a total rebuilding project at the receiver corp if current starters Justin Hunter and Cordarrelle Patterson decide to turn pro after this season. The Vols already lost their leading receiver from last year, Da'Rick Rogers, who was dismissed from the team for multiple violations of team rules.
