GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- With all the controversy surrounding the NCAA's decision to allow Ohio State's new coach Urban Meyer to go out and recruit while interim head coach Luke Fickell prepares for the TaxSlayer.com Gator Bowl, Florida found itself in its own predicament.

When Charlie Weis left to take the Kansas head coaching job, Florida not only lost its offensive coordinator, but also lost a valuable recruiter.

The Gators are getting help, though.
