GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- College football fans are used to the old Game of the Century hype. It made a comeback this past season when No. 1 LSU fended off No. 2 Alabama (a game so nice, we'll play it twice!).

Short of saying there will be a Game of the Century in the NFL this weekend, it's still safe to churn up the hype machine for the New England Patriots' much-anticipated visit to play the Denver Tebows, I mean, Broncos.

Yes, it's Tom Brady vs. Tim Tebow, except they won't actually square off against each other. Regardless, it's a big game and you probably want to read stories and watch videos about it. The AggreGator obliges ...

STORY: Denver mum on Tebow's future
Mile High Messiah fans want to know what the kid has got to do to get Broncos ownership and management behind him. Making the playoffs is probably a good start.

VIDEO: Kraft on Tebow: 'He's Great For The NFL'
Patriots owner Robert Kraft talks about the Brady-O'Brien argument and Tim Tebow during the Patriots Charitable Foundation's 18th annual Children's Holiday Party.

OK, more hype to come, I'm sure. Let's move on to the always tempestuous world of college football recruiting ...

Urban is off and running (Insider blog)
Former Florida coach and soon-to-be thorn in UF's side Urban Meyer is already using his considerable reputation as a recruiting juggernaut to boost OSU. The Buckeyes have already gotten one ESPNU 150 member to flip, and there could be more on the way. Watch out, Muschamp.

Let's switch over to men's college basketball ...

King's Court: A look around the nation
Our Jason King wants to know -- Who is the second-best team in the SEC behind Kentucky? He notes that No. 13 Florida is a tad higher in the polls, but right now, 16th-ranked Mississippi State is playing better basketball. And the Bulldogs certainly appear to have more balance and depth than the Gators, who will have trouble matching up with MSU's Arnett Moultrie and Renardo Sidney in the paint.

Writers' Roundtable: Five big questions
Here's one of the questions -- Which top-15 team do you not trust? Dana O'Neil says Florida. She says the Gators are supremely talented, but their lack of discipline is a concern. Case in point: the win against Arizona. Patric Young scored 25 points in that game. He could have (and should have) had more, she writes, but his backcourt insisted on jacking up shots instead of feeding him the ball. Can't argue with that, but UF's Erving Walker and Kenny Boynton did seem to get it sorted out in Friday night's rout of Rider.

Don't like O'Neil's answer? You can chat with her today at 2 p.m. ET. Go easy.

There are plenty of good chats today. Here are some of interest …

Noon - NFL (and all things Tebow) with Matt Williamson
Noon - NCAA football with Adam Rittenberg
1 p.m. - Football guru Mel Kiper
2 p.m. - NCAA football with Ivan Maisel
2:30 p.m. - Former Gator coach and current Oklahoma coach Lon Kruger
3 p.m. - NCAA football with Beano Cook
4 p.m. - NCAA football with Andrea Adelson

Couple more hoops scoops ...

The Big Ten remains atop Conference Power Rankings
The Southeastern Conference is No. 4 (ahead of the ACC it should be mentioned)

Michigan's Horford has a stress fracture (WolverineNation)
Yes, that's big Al's little brother, John, who is a not-so-little 6-foot-10. Gator fans will remember him from Florida's back-to-back national championship run, when the stands were full of celebrity parents like Yannick Noah and Tito Horford.
