Under Armours 7s: Prospects to watch

June, 10, 2012
GatorNation's Derek Tyson checks in from Miramar, Fla., and reports on the South Florida Under Armour Sevens. Miami Southridge DB Jamal Carter showed why he has more than 40 offers. Insider Florida is among those offers.
"Jamal has a rare combination of size, speed, athletic ability and intelligence," his coach, Lamont Green, said. "He comes from a long line of defensive backs. His father and uncles were all college defensive backs. He's just possesses a rare formula that you don't find every day. That's why he has over 50 offers."
Tyson also filed a notebook, Insider leading with 2014 quarterback prospect Hunter Boyette, who also has garnered interest from the Gators. Boyett's favorite target on Saturday was 2015 running back/wide receiver Tim Irvin, the nephew of former NFL great Michael Irvin. Irvin already has three offers and counts the Gators among interested teams.
