UPDATE: Stone Mountain (Ga.) Stephenson four-star running back Mike Davis decommitted from Florida Sunday night, according to ESPN GatorNation reporter Derek Tyson.

The 5-foot-10, 190-pound prospect ranks as the No. 17 running back in the nation and the No. 29 player in Georgia. Davis, the younger brother of Detroit Lions running back James Davis, took a visit to Tennessee this weekend and announced his intentions on Twitter following his return from Knoxville.

Davis, who was recently named to the U.S. Army Bowl, said that a misunderstanding with the Florida coaching staff led to his decision.
