WINTER GARDEN, Fla. -- Four-star safety prospect Marcell Harris (Orlando, Fla./Dr. Phillips) has been a busy man over the last two weeks. Harris visited Florida for its junior day on Feb. 18 and then Florida State on Saturday for another junior day.
Though he has seen Florida State a few times before, Harris said it was still enjoyable.
"It was pretty cool," Harris said at the Nike Football SPARQ Combine in Winter Garden (Fla.). "I have seen most of their stuff. Their athletic program is building up with all of the players that they have coming in. That will be a great program."
Harris said comparing his Florida and FSU visits is difficult, because he has been to both places many times.
"To compare both is like just going to and getting a recap on everything and a better understanding of the two programs," he said.
Over the last two weeks Harris has added offers from Louisville, Ohio State and Auburn. He said he's still open and just happy to be getting recruited.
"I am just blessed to have this opportunity," Harris said. "They are recognizing my capabilities and what I have to bring to the table. I'm just going out and playing football, and they are recognizing me so that's a blessing."
Harris said he is planning to visit some schools over the spring but has yet to decide which he will see. He will likely narrow down his choices by the summer.
