Fulwood looks to be a difference-maker

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- In Florida's 14-7 victory over SEC East opponent Missouri on Saturday afternoon, the Gators' leading wide receiver, Quinton Dunbar, had two receptions for 13 yards. ESPN 150 wide receiver Ahmad Fulwood (Jacksonville, Fla./Bishop Kenny), a Florida commit, hopes he can help improve on that kind of production next year.

The 6-foot-4, 189-pound athlete believes he can help Florida create more of a vertical passing attack in his freshman season.

"I believe I can stretch the field," Fulwood said. "With the receivers they got right now -- quick, speedy guys -- I feel like I can stretch it out and make it a more wide-open offense, open up the run game more. Not that it's not open enough, but with that now you have another weapon to work with. I'm just trying to add another weapon to the offense. Hopefully I can fit in really well, just get to squeeze my way in there.
