GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Florida had several prospects on hand to watch the Gators win convincingly over SEC East opponent South Carolina. After the game, several prospects talked about what they thought of Florida's 44-11 win over the Gamecocks.

DB Duke Dawson (Cross City, Fla./Dixie County), class of 2014 -- "It was a great game to be at. The crowd was insane. It was just great. I love the coaches because they always show me lots of love."

RB Tony James (Gainesville, Fla./Gainesville), class of 2014 -- "This game meant way more to the Gators then it did to beat LSU. The energy was positive and it helped even more that South Carolina had so many turnovers."

DB D.J. Smith (Marietta, Ga./Walton), class of 2014 -- (@DJ_Smith_Smith): "Florida on top! They cannot be stopped! Alabama y'all next!"

DT Caleb Brantley (Crescent City, Fla./Crescent City), class of 2013, committed to UF -- (@_TheKidd34): "Leaving the game 44-11? Wooooooooowww!"

S George Campbell (Tarpon Springs, Fla./East Lake), class of 2015 -- "It was fantastic. The stadium was rocking and everyone was in to it. Gators are running the college football circuit right now."

S Nick Washington (Jacksonville, Fla./Trinity Christian), class 2013, committed to UF -- (@NickWashingtonn): "I said it's great to be a Florida Gator!!"

CB Vernon Hargreaves III (Tampa, Fla./Wharton), class of 2013, committed to UF -- (@VH_2400): "I literally can not wait to play for Florida!"

CB Reggie Wilkerson (Citra, Fla./North Marion), class of 2013, committed to UGA -- "I just went to enjoy the college atmosphere but the Gators just showed more heart and wanted to win. Defense is looking good and secondary even better."

Note: Clemson WR commit Demarcus Robinson, Alabama DE commit DeMarcus Walker, UGA DB commit Shaq Wiggins and 2014 QB Will Grier did not make it to the game as previously planned.
