When Vinnie Sunseri moved to Tuscaloosa before his senior year, it wasn’t easy. It was a new city, a new school, a new football team and essentially a new life. But it didn’t take long for him to become friends with his new teammate at Northridge High School, Bo Scarbrough.

Scarbrough was just a freshman when Sunseri was a senior, but the two developed a relationship that remains strong to this day.

“I always like to hang around good guys and people who do the right thing,” Scarbrough said. “When he first came down to the school, I got cool with him, saw what a great guy he was and how fun he was to hang around and have by your side. We got very close, starting caring for each other, and we became boys.
