Tide gets commit from 2013 WR

January, 28, 2012
2013 wide receiver Raheem Falkins (New Orleans/Carver) committed to Alabama on Saturday at junior day in Tuscaloosa, giving the Tide three commits on the day and seven already for the 2013 class.

Falkins could have played out the recruiting process. His two favorite schools offered him recently, but in the end he knew what he wanted to do. It came down to the homestate LSU Tigers and the national champion.

"Alabama came in and has shown so much interest in me," Falkins said. "It's where I know I want to be. I just felt a whole lot of love, and I wanted to make this difficult decision."
