TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- Jordan Sims (Homewood, Ala./Homewood) received an Alabama offer back in February, but he still had to prove to the coaching staff that he belonged in the Crimson Tide’s 2014 class. The ESPN 300 offensive lineman got his chance on Sunday when UA’s July camp kicked off.

“Everything went great,” Sims said. “I had a great camp today. The coaches thought so. I thought so. I went up against some great defensive linemen, great competitors. It was intense. There wasn’t one relaxed part about it. It was definitely intense.”
