Walker makes first trip to Alabama

February, 19, 2012
ESPNU 150 Watchlist member DeMarcus Walker has over a dozen offers, including one from the Crimson Tide. This weekend, the highly coveted defensive end from Florida made his first ever trip to the University of Alabama campus for junior day.

“It was fun,” Walker said of his time in Tuscaloosa. “It was a good experience. I hung out with the coaches and hung out with the players. The highlight was hanging out with Reuben Foster and sitting down one-on-one with Coach (Nick) Saban. Alabama is a great school.”

Foster, a five-star on ESPN.com, committed to the Crimson Tide last July. He was scheduled to visit Gainesville for Florida’s junior day on Saturday but changed his plans and attended UA’s junior day instead.
