TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- ESPN Watch List defensive end Lorenzo Carter (Norcross, Ga./Norcross) has already been to Florida State, Georgia and Georgia Tech this fall, but he says his trip to Alabama over the weekend was his favorite visit of the season.
“They rolled out the red carpet,” Carter said. “I felt like they actually wanted me on this visit. When I came, people knew my name. When we were going up to eat, they pulled me aside and had me go in and talk to Coach [Nick] Saban before the game. It was just nice. Everything was tailored to me, basically.”
Although Carter didn’t get the scholarship offer he was hoping for, he did receive some good news from the Crimson Tide head coach.
