The University of Alabama picked up its first commitment of the 2014 recruiting class when junior running back Bo Scarbrough (Tuscaloosa, Ala./Northridge) confirmed to TideNation that he committed to the Crimson Tide on Friday night.
Scarbrough, a 6-foot-2, 220-pound prospect, had over a dozen scholarship offers and chose UA over the likes of Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Georgia and Michigan.
Coming off a torn ACL injury a year ago, Scarbrough has rushed for 387 yards and four touchdowns in two games this season. The junior also had 98 yards on 10 carries in a jamboree game against McGill-Toolen to start the season.
