Four Alabama players make first team SEC

Four University of Alabama football players were named to the first team 2012 Southeastern Conference pre-season Coaches All-SEC Team, the league announced Thursday.

Offensive linemen Barrett Jones and D.J. Fluker made first team on offense, while C.J. Mosley and Nico Johnson earned first team defense.

All told, 11 Alabama players made either first, second or third team All-SEC. Only LSU had as many players voted to All-SEC teams.

Eddie Lacy and Chance Warmack made second team offense while AJ McCarron and Michael Williams earned a spot on third team offense. Jesse Williams and Robert Lester made second team defense. Dee Milliner made third team defense.
