Tide baseball program needs a makeover

The 2012 season has been forgettable for the University of Alabama baseball program. Attendance is at its lowest in more than a decade and the team is on its way to being only the sixth squad to finish below .500 at the Capstone since the end of World War II.

The reasons for this year's troubles are many, but the root cause goes much deeper than the players on the field and the coach in the dugout.
