Spring practice: Week 3

March, 26, 2012
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- The Crimson Tide suited up for another day of spring practice on Monday, officially the sixth of the offseason.

The conditions on the practice field couldn't have been better with temperatures in the low 80s and no clouds in sight.

Here are a few observations from the media viewing period of practice:

  • Duron Carter, the Tide's enigmatic wide receiver, was yet again not at practice. The former Ohio State standout was also not listed on the Alabama roster available online. There has been no official statement on his status with the team.
  • Freshman linebacker Dillon Lee looked to be moving well after having his ankle wrapped during practice last week. There was no visible tape or brace on his ankle Monday. He did, however have a sleeve to protect his left shoulder.
