RB is fully committed to Northwestern
By Brent Sobleski
Northwestern is building an impressive recruiting class particularly after four-star running back Justin Jackson (Carol Stream, Ill./Glenbard North) verbally committed to the program. The Wildcats would usually be in position to worry if Jackson would honor his pledge. That's no longer the case.
"No more calls, no more Facebook and no more recruiting process," Jackson told the Chicago Tribune. "I committed to Northwestern and I'm done with my recruiting."
"Northwestern from very early on was my leader, and each time I visited I felt more at home."
Boston College, Cincinnati, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Minnesota, Mississippi State, Missouri, Purdue and Vanderbilt all offered Jackson. Some wanted him as a running back. Others envisioned him at cornerback. All must look in another direction after Jackson shut down his recruitment.
