Georgia's last minute push for Liner
By Brent Sobleski
Four-star defensive lineman and former Auburn commit Dee Liner (Muscle Shoals, Ala./Muscle Shoals) reached out to yet another SEC program as time is dwindling in this year's recruiting cycle.
Georgia is now firmly in the picture for the nation's No. 4 defensive tackle.
"The questions almost everyone asked were: 'Who initiated contact?'" Radi Nabulsi of DawgNation.com wrote. " Is Georgia reaching out to Liner in a desperation move after getting bad news on Montravius Adams or is Liner not as happy with Alabama as some folks have made him out to be?
"According to my sources, Liner called Richt. I have also bee told, although not by Liner himself, that Liner is going to take an official visit to Georgia this weekend."
Liner is considering Alabama, Auburn and Tennessee. Nabulsi told Rumor Central that Alabama should still be considered the favorite to eventually land the defensive lineman.
