Possible transfer options for Pittman
By Brent Sobleski
Ohio State has now lost two of its top four commits from last year's recruiting class. Offensive lineman Joey O'Conner transferred to Colorado State earlier in the year. Defensive end Se'Von Pittman is the next to go according to Tim May of the Columbus Dispatch.
One potential transfer destination has been revealed, while others should be under consideration.
"...sources said he was considering a transfer to Louisville if it can be worked out.," May reported.
Louisville is Pittman's top option, but it may not work out. Pittman was initially a Michigan State commit, and he could contact the coaching staff about the possibility of joining the Spartans. West Virginia was another program that offered Pittman, and the Mountaineers have always been open to giving player's a second chance.
Kentucky is a program which could be interested in Pittman. The Wildcats are trying to build a pipeline into the state of Ohio under new head coach Mark Stoops. Stoops has concentrated on adding top defensive talent, and Pittman certainly fits the bill.
