 ESPN Watch List LB is an OSU lean

Linebacker was a top priority for Ohio State among this year's recruiting class. The Buckeyes are also positioned well to landed a commitment from one of the 2014 ESPN Watch List linebackers. Clifton Garrett (Plainfield, Ill./Plainfield South) can be considered an Ohio State lean.

"Word is he's all Buckeye at this stage," J.C. Shurbertt of 247Sports.com wrote.

The SEC will continue to make a push for Garrett and provide the primary competition to Ohio State:

"LSU and Ole Miss are the two other SEC schools Garrett is high on. The Rebels have offered Garrett and are making him a priority. The Tigers and Rebels will have to contend with an SEC counterpart in Florida now, as Garrett said the Gators are in the hunt.

'I'll consider Florida a lot,' Garrett wrote. 'They have a lot to offer.'"
