'14 LB is an Auburn lean
By Brent Sobleski
Linebacker is the No. 1 priority for Auburn in its 2014 recruiting class. The Tigers already began to rebuild along the defensive line with this year's recruiting haul. Gus Malzahn and staff will now concentrate on the team's second line of defense.
Auburn already made 11 offers to linebackers which is more than any other position in the class. The Tigers have yet to get a commitment from those targets, but one appears to be close. Detric Dukes (Tucker, Ga./Tucker) spent Monday on Auburn's campus. It's his second trip to the Plains, and he continues to come away impressed.
“It was a great experience,” Dukes told Jason Caldwell of AUTigers.com. “I have been over there once. Every time I go over there I like it more and more. It feels more like home."
Auburn doesn't have a commitment of any kind to next year's class as of yet, but Dukes could eventually be the first to make his pledge to the Tigers.
