UPDATE: Dan Quinn went from being a favorite of the Philadelphia Eagles to a "strong possibility" of rejoining Pete Carroll in Seattle into eventually being named the Seahawks' new defensive coordinator in a matter of hours.

Florida's search for a replacement didn't last nearly as long. Linebackers' coach D.J. Durkin was quickly named Quinn's replacement. And the Gators shouldn't miss a beat with Durkin in place.
