Johnathan Franklin was UCLA's workhorse this season with 282 carries for 1,734 rushing yards. Jordon James was second on the team with 61 carries. Jones and senior-to-be Damien Thigpen could share carries in attempts to replace Franklin, but a redshirt freshman could be the team's next star at running back.
