Receivers coach Michael Smith is leaving the Kansas State Wildcats for the Arkansas Razorbacks. Kellis Robinett of the Kansas City Star says this will be a big loss for Kansas State -- and a big boost for Arkansas.
Smith played wide receiver for the Wildcats in the early 1990s. "He began serving on Bill Snyder’s staff in 1993 as a student assistant coach and coached running backs from 1997-2005," Robinett writes. "He returned to K-State with Snyder in 2009 and has been coaching receivers ever since.
