Alabama needs Dee Liner to produce 

Alabama has areas of its team where it can still improve despite a second straight national title. A consistent pass rush was lacking last year.

Alabama head coach Nick Saban and defensive coordinator Kirby Smart can generate pressure with multiple defensive looks and blitzes, but an elite pass rusher isn't currently found on the team. One could come from this year's recruiting class.
