Big Ten signing day primer

National signing day is just hours away, and ESPN will have all your recruiting needs covered Wednesday.

ESPNU will begin its signing day special at 7:30 a.m. ET and bring you several announcements from recruits. The broadcast will last until 7 p.m. ET. ESPN will air the recruiting special from 3:30 to 4 p.m ET.

Make sure to keep checking ESPN's RecruitingNation home page all day long for updates. Here are some key Twitter accounts to follow for news throughout the day:

And here's what each Big Ten school plans with its recruiting coverage:

Illinois
  • The school will have a live blog at this signing day central site on its official website beginning at 7 a.m. ET, which will include highlight videos and a chat with head coach Tim Beckman at 11 a.m. ET
  • Beckman's news conference begins at 2 p.m. ET and will be streamed live at FightingIllini.com.
Indiana
  • The Hoosiers will have a signing day show on the Big Ten Network at 11 a.m. ET, where coach Kevin Wilson and his staff will announce, review highlights and provide commentary on Indiana’s 2013 signing class.
  • Wilson's news conference begins at 2 p.m. ET and can be viewed here.
Iowa
Michigan
  • The Wolverines are producing a two-hour signing day webcast on their official site that begins at 7:30 a.m. ET on Wednesday. The show will include behind-the-scenes access, video highlight packages and biographical information on Michigan's signees, as well as interviews with select Michigan players and coaches. Fans can also follow signing day updates through Michigan's official Twitter account or by texting SIGN to 54815 to receive official up-to-the-minute mobile alerts.
  • Head coach Brady Hoke's news conference begins at 2 p.m. ET and will be streamed live on the school's website.
Michigan State
Minnesota
  • Signing day central on GopherSports.com will have an interactive blog and live announcements of signees. Offensive coordinator Matt Limegrover (10:45 a.m. ET), defensive coordinator Tracy Claeys (11:15 a.m. ET) and recruiting coordinator Billy Glasscock (10 a.m. ET) will stop by the blog and answer fan questions.
  • Head coach Jerry Kill's news conference begins at 3 p.m. ET and will be streamed online at GopherSports.com.
Nebraska
  • Signee bios and updates will be posted at Huskers.com.
  • Head coach Bo Pelini's news conference begins at 3 p.m. ET.
Northwestern
  • The Wildcats will have a live signing day blog beginning at 7 a.m. ET on its official website, which will include official announcements and highlight videos. The school's Twitter feed will also have updates.
  • Head coach Pat Fitzgerald's news conference begins at 2 p.m. ET.
Ohio State
  • Live updates and other information will be provided at OhioStateBuckeyes.com.
  • Head coach Urban Meyer's news conference begins at 3 p.m. ET and will be streamed live here.
Penn State
  • Recruit names and bios will be posted on the school's official website as letters are received.
  • Head coach Bill O’Brien's news conference begins at 3:10 p.m. ET and will be streamed live here.
Purdue
  • The team will post bios and statistics of signees as they become official on the school's official website and on Twitter.
  • Head coach Darrell Hazell's news conference begins at 3:30 p.m. ET, and the team's three early enrollees will also be available at that time. Audio of the news conference will be available on the school's website.
Wisconsin
  • The Badgers will announce signing day updates on their official Twitter feed and on UWBadgers.com.
  • Head coach Gary Andersen's news conference begins at 3 p.m. ET and will be streamed live on UWBadgers.com.
