Q: Adam, how big an impact do you believe John Fox’s surgery will have on the Denver Broncos? Jack Del Rio has been a head coach before, but this is an important stretch for Denver with two games against Kansas City. -- Haley (Colorado)

A: Haley: Of the many attributes Fox brought to the team, maybe the biggest was his enthusiasm and energy. It helped inspire this team. But keep in mind that offensive coordinator Adam Gase runs the offense and Del Rio runs the defense -- and that won’t change. They will miss Fox, but they have stellar coordinators and a quarterback who’s like a coach on the field. And even though Fox will not be there, he still can do work that will help the team, like Chuck Pagano did last year when he took a leave from coaching the team. But here’s the other part to remember: The Broncos have five of their remaining eight games on the road. They’re going to need all the help they can get.

Q: Adam, which team or teams have been most impressive to you over the course of the season so far? -- Tammy (Arizona)
